Life together

Known.
Loved.
Not alone.

Jesus, our Good Shepherd, knows and cares for his people. As a church, we seek to reflect his love by walking alongside one another through life’s joys, questions, and difficult seasons.

Pastoral care—sometimes called shepherding or the care of souls—helps people experience Christ’s love through spiritual guidance, prayer, practical support, and compassionate presence.

01 / Pastoral care

Walking with
you in faith.

Pastoral care is the Christlike work of knowing, feeding, guiding, protecting, and restoring people so they grow in faith and learn to follow Jesus. Our pastors and elders carry a particular responsibility for shepherding, and our whole church shares in caring for one another.

Through God’s Word, prayer, and compassionate presence, we want to offer comfort in suffering, guidance through life’s questions, and encouragement as you follow Jesus. Let us know how we can support you.

Questions about getting support?

What can I request support for?

You can request support through life’s celebrations and challenges, including:

  • Welcoming a child, getting married, or welcoming a foster child
  • Family or marriage difficulties
  • Mental and emotional health concerns
  • Financial or practical needs, such as job loss, housing, or groceries
  • Grief or the loss of a loved one

Share what you’re walking through so our team can better understand your needs and explore how we may be able to support you.

If you need immediate help, please use the crisis contacts in the Immediate Support section rather than waiting for a response to this form.

When will I hear back?

Our team will be in touch as soon as we can. We’re grateful you reached out and look forward to connecting with you.

Do I need to attend THE HOUSE to request support?

No—you don’t have to call The House home to reach out. We’re here to love and serve our community, and that includes you.

Can I request support for someone else?

Yes. If someone you know could use support, we’d love to help you take the next step. Please get their permission before sharing their contact information or personal details.

Is pastoral care the same as therapy?

Pastoral care offers spiritual guidance, prayer, and support. Professional counseling and psychiatric care provide clinical services. Depending on your needs, both may be part of your support.
