Scripture: Psalm 119:164 – “Seven times a day I praise You for Your righteous rules.”
Devotional:
Growing up in church, I thought worship required instruments. But at 16, I remember sitting in a basement church in Long Island while Pastor Peter taught on grace vs. law from Romans. As he read Scripture, something clicked in me, and for the first time, I lifted my hands in worship—without a single note being played.
Worship isn’t just music; it’s a response to God’s Word and presence. You might not feel God today, but that doesn’t mean He isn’t near. Like the wind, you can’t see Him, but you can see the effects of His presence. Worship focuses on what is truly worthy—God’s priceless richness.
Action:
Find a quiet place and read Psalm 119:161-168. As you reflect, respond to God however you feel led—whether through prayer, kneeling, or lifting your hands.
