How To Get Started  

Psalm 1:3 says, “They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in season.” Spending time in God’s Word daily will help you stay rooted, flourish in every season, and grow in your walk with Jesus. 

Let’s commit as a church to grow deeper in 2025 through God’s Word and daily devotions. Together, we can stay planted, bear fruit, and flourish in our faith!

Choose Your Plan

Start SOAP Devotions  

Set aside 10–20 minutes daily to read your plan and journal your SOAP reflections.

To help you get the most out of these plans, we recommend using the SOAP Method during your daily Bible reading. SOAP helps you slow down, reflect, and apply God’s Word to your life.

What Does Soap Stand For?

Scripture

Write down a verse or two from your daily reading that stands out to you. 

Example: Psalm 92:12: “The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” 

Observation

Reflect on the verse. What is God saying? Write a few thoughts or insights. 

Example: This verse shows that spiritual growth and strength come from being rooted in God. 

Application

Ask yourself: How does this verse apply to my life today? Write down a practical step or takeaway. 

Example: I need to prioritize staying connected to God’s Word and church community to grow spiritually. 

Prayer

End with a prayer. Ask God to help you live out what you’ve learned. 

Example: “Lord, help me stay planted in You. Strengthen me to flourish no matter what season I’m in. Amen.”
